Mouser Introduces Qorvo's PAC5527 48V Power Application Controller
Mouser Electronics, a distributor of electronic components focused on introducing new products and providing a large amount of inventory, will begin stocking Qorvo's PAC5527 48 V Power Application Controller® (PAC) with immediate effect. This charge pump motor controller and driver for brushless DC (BLDC) motors integrates multiple functions to provide a compact microcontroller-based power and motor control solution. The PAC5527 is ideal for brushless motor control applications, including high-performance power tools (up to 24V), 12V servo or DC fans, drones, and remote control (RC) systems.
Mouser's stocked Qorvo PAC5527 is a system-on-chip (SoC) controller for high efficiency, high performance, and long battery life for BLDC motor powered tools. The SoC uses a 150 MHz Arm® Cortex®-M4F 32-bit microcontroller with 128 KB of flash memory, giving designers the flexibility to add diagnostic and self-test functions.
The PAC5527 also features Qorvo's highly configurable power manager, a convenient all-in-one power management solution, including a buck-boost regulator for low-side gate drive power supplies and four with power and sleep management functions Linear regulator. The Qorvo Configurable Analog Front End ™ built into this device has a single-ended programmable gain amplifier, a differential programmable gain amplifier, a digital-to-analog converter, a comparator, and 10 analog front-end input and output pins.
