INA209 is a 26V, 12-bit, i2c output current/voltage/power monitor with analog comparator

The INA209 is a high-side current shunt and power monitor with an I 2 C interface. The INA209  monitors the shunt drop and the shunt bus voltage. Programmable calibration values ​​combined with an internal multiplier allow direct amperage readings. An additional multiply register calculates power in watts. The INA209 has two independent onboard watchdog functions: a warning comparator and an overrun comparator. The warning comparator can be used to monitor the lower warning limit and includes a user-defined delay. An over-limit comparator helps monitor upper limits that may require an immediate system shutdown.

The INA209 also includes an analog comparator and a programmable digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that combine to provide the fastest possible response to current overload conditions.

The INA209 can be used with hot-swap controllers that already use current sense resistors. The INA209  full-scale range can be chosen to be within the AT25080B-XHL-T hot-swap controller detection limits, or wide enough to encompass them.

The INA209 senses shunts on a bus from 0V to 26V. The device operates from a single +3V to +5.5V supply and can sink a maximum supply current of 1.5mA. It is specified for operation in the temperature range of -25°C to +85°C.
